Removal of "Internet Optimiser"

I seem to have unintentionally aquired "Internet Optimiser" on my machine. Any ideas on how to remove it. I thought that I had removed all traces but IT'S STILL THERE.

It crops up when ever a new URL can not be found, even when working inside a site looking for a new "page".

I am currently running a late edition of Windows 95

Check-out this extract from another forum (digital spy) I brows on the odd occasion. I stumbled on this just the other day as I was attemting to rid my own PC of Internet Optimizer. It worked for me ...

1. Look under Program Files; There should be a folder that calls 'Internet Optimizer'.
In this folder there is a file that calls 'optimize.exe'.

2. Now go to your Task Manager, processes and de-activate (End Process) the process optimize.

3. Go back to the folder 'Internet Optimizer' and delete optimize.exe.

4. Delete also the folder 'Internet Optimizer'.

Hopefully, you should now be OK.

Good luck!
