Removal of BT Openworld NetHelp's pop up

  chrisliz 20:17 27 Dec 04

Each time we log on for the first time, we get the pop up "BT Openworld Nethelp will now run for the first time" and we can't get shot of it. (Yes we know we should have checked the go away and die box at the time but we were in the midst of a full sytem rebuild - don't ask.)The BT Broadband help line has not been much use. Tried all the obvious stuff such as removing the wretched Nethelp. Reloading it from the site etc etc. No joy.

Many thanks, will try the msconfig route.
We never had this before the rebuild/reinstall either

Thinking about it, msconfig can't work as the help line pop up only loads as I log on. It don't run from boot up!I looked anyway and it is not there. Looks like a full unload of the BT stuff. Oh joy. Had hoped for something simple.
