I've just installed XP Pro. Most things appear to work okay except that I keep getting a message which states"The system must shutdown ...... System shutdown caused by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM. Windows must restart because Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpectidely."What is this and how can I fix it. Cheers. Paul

Hi - it did find them the first time. This time I forgot to disable Sys Restore. TWIT ME. They were there I was just an eegit and forgot the basic rules. Lesson learnt.
