Remembering passwords

  Daveym 18:36 07 Apr 06

Hi folks. I asked this question some months ago but I never sorted the problem. I have a Toshiba Sat Pro Laptop with XP Pro and all updates and I cannot get it to remember Outlook Express login passwords, Ebay passwords and even Google search addresses. All options in Explorer tools/options/content/auto complete are ticked but to no avail. I phoned Microsoft but because its an OEM version they wanted £49 + vat to tell me!! Thanks Bill Gates.. Any ideas please??

Click on Tools at the top of internet explorer

Click on Internet Options

Click on the Content Tab

Under Personal Information Click on the AutoComplete Tab.

Click on the small box to the left of "Prompt me to save passwords" to enter or remove the check mark.

Click on Ok.

Did you do the prompt me to save passwords bit?
