reinstalling win98 lost keycode

theres a way to find the original installation numbers in the registry, anyone know of it??Thanks

zaxpop - - - the answer is in this forum somewhere, unless archived. I came across it last year sometime and helped me out of a little fix I was in at that time - - - happy searching mate.

To find your Windows key using regedit:

Click Start>Run and type regedit. Click OK and make your way down to this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

If you are using Windows 98/Me, look in the right hand pane for the value ProductKey.
