Reinstalling Vista on Evesham PC (no disk)

Hi,

I could really do with reinstalling Vista from scratch on my parent's Evesham PC. They don't recall getting a restore disk of any kind with the PC when I bought it and I have a suspicion that there may be a partition on the hard drive with the required data on it to perform a wipe/install. I have no idea where to start with this though...

(in the meantime I'll keep searching their boxes for a disk they maybe didn't know they had)

Thanks in advance for any help

Is there a user manual on the PC in the form of a PDF document. Just a thought... some manufacturers do, and that would give you recovery options. Try typing evesham or the model number into Vista's search box.

Try tapping F8 as its booting, this should put you into the Vista Repair Options.
Then follpw the prompts to repair or reinstall or reset to factory settings.
