Re.installing Printer without CD

Having got a new computer, I can't find the installation CD for my Canon Pixma MP170 printer -so I'm unable to re-instal. Is there a way to get the printer working without the CD? I use XP Home.

Go to the Canon Site for the correct Drivers, If it Vista the Operating System may have the drivers already on the System. Just try plugging it in to see if it finds them

XP should do the same

Thanks! Ist time I tried, I was asked for the CD - but after your advice, I tried again, and Windows found all the required drivers etc - so printer was installed OK! Thanks again!

You may still get a later version of the drivers on the Canon website (unless you allowed Windows to Find the drivers via the Internet).
