reinstallation of Jedi knight II problem

while playing Jedi knight II:Jedi outcast the game slowed down to a crawl. I tried to exit, but could only do so by opening the cd drawer. It then became apparent that the slow down was caused by my PC-cillin anti virus software carrying out a scheduled scan of the c drive.

I tried to restart the game but got error messages.

I then uninstalled the game using unistall.

Now I am trying to re-install the game, but keep getting a message from 'Installshield wizard'which states 'do you wish to uninstall jedi knight II'. But I've already uninstalled it and deleted the LucasArts folder.

you may still have some registry entries left after you uninstalled also check to see if the route folder was left behind may be something left in there causing your problem
