Reinstall Norton System Works 2003

I have Norton System Works 2003 installed on my computer and it is fully up to date, virus definitions, firewall and programme in general.

When I reinstall on my new computer do I have to start from scratch and install 3 years of updates from the Symantec site, which means going online naked, or are there some files such as current virus definitions that I can save and manually upload to my new computer before going online?

Assuming your new pc has XP SP2 then you will at least have the windows firewall.

Download this file click here and urn to CD or memory stick.

Install Norton and then run that file. It'll give you the up to date virus definitions. Then go online and get the rest of the updates.
