Hi! there,

I have started to get a message on the monitor, just prior to the Windows XP homepage appearing, stating that the system could not find file '00000'(thats the exact file name) and either to replace it or remove it from the registry. How do I achieve this. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

NO Joy Technotiger, I have ran both C Cleaner and Ashampoo registry software, and the message still appears on start up. I would delete it from the registry, but I do no how to go about this. Thanks for your advice anyway.

or go to Start>Search and in the Search window type in the name of the file - if Search finds it you can delete it from within the Search window by highlighting it and pressing Del.
