Registry cleaners - which one to use

  Tadpole Ted 14:17 07 Aug 05

I just ran CCleaner and it found no problems, but then I ran RegSeeker and it found 721 invalid or missing registry entries.
My 'puter has been running kinda slow for a while but I'm a little reluctant to go and delete such a large number of entries.
Anyone got an opinion on what I should do?
Im running Win98se on a PIII 500 with 384Mb RAM

whichever programme you use it should back up to a folder so you can undo whatever you delete, otherwise use system restore (if it is available on 98 se'cos I cant remember if it is)

is RegSeeker suitable for Win98? Or is it going to really mes sit up?

I deleted the 721 invalid entries and nothing seems to have broken in the process.
Thanks again.
