Registering domain names.

There are so many companies offering to register domain names and email addresses to go with them... which one(s) are the best? Which ones to avoid? Obviously, I want to choose one that will be around in a couple of years' time.

Many thanks.

Have you checked out Freenetname? They'll assign you a domain name (only .org.uk or .co.uk, I think) and host your web page for free (one per household), and they've been around a while now. Email address comes with the page.

Oneandone click here seem to be one good company. Yes you have to pay, but don't expect someone who is free to be around for long.

Freenetname.co.uk stopped taking new people ages ago.
