Refreshing icons folders in exployer

  Boy Zone 17:51 08 Jan 04

Hi, Can some please advise me? I run win XP home.
When using directory exployer mode, if I slide the bar to view all the contents of the directories up and down, all is ok until I reach a certain point, at which all the folder icons of the directory start to refresh and jitter, this can only be stopped by moving the slider bar back up the screen. I have tried everything to stop this, reloaded the new nivdia drivers. Its driving me nuts.

Dear spikeychris,

ran line 157, but has not stopped the problem. As stated above the problem I'm having, but also its as if the hard drive is trying to do something and all you hear is a grind/winding moaning noice, until I slide the bar back upwards to teh middle of the screen. Wierd but drives you crazy.

Is a bit strange yeah. Run chkdsk first. Go to run and type cmd then type chkdsk /f

Click Y to check at next reboot and reboot.
