Can someone jog my memory as to how to reformat a hard drive and do a fresh instal under Win95.

I've got my boot disk & CD ready but it's so long since I played around with Win95 that I've forgotten what to do next.

Cheers.

Its the same as for win 98.
Put in startup floppy and start computer.
When the floppy has finished going through its motions just type format c:
and then press enter. The system will tell you that all data will be erased do you want to continue? Answer is yes.
Restart the computer and when the floppy is finished you should get a screen with options to boot fron a: c: cdrom or boot into dos. obviously from here you select boot from cdrom

Hope this helps.

click here for a pdf article on how to do it. Also remember that a standard W95 boot disk doesnt include CD drivers so you'll need click here or a W95 disk with added driver support.
