Recycler and Recycled folders

I am running XP home and have just converted all my hard drive partitions from fat32 to ntfs. I now have both a recycled folder and a recycler folder on each partition. If I delete something it appears in both folders. Do I need them both? or can I delete the recycled folder?

Thanks

On NTFS partitions, the folder is called Recycler instead of Recycled.

You can delete the old Recycled folders. Just in case anything goes wrong, before you do that, create a restore point first.

Thanks for your help. I will delete the recycled folders and see what happens.
