Recycle Bin (XP) Unwanted Auto Deletion

  Pontyboy 22:12 12 Mar 04

I'm currently using Windows XP Home Edition and am having problems with the Recycle Bin Auto Delete/Bypass feature.

When I select an object/file to delete it automatically bypasses the Recycle Bin. I am aware there are options to alter this in Properties but all options are greyed out except 'use one setting for all drives' which when clicked has no effect.

I have one hard drive partitioned to appear as two (one is a recovery section). I have installed all updates suggested by Auto-Update.

Any help would be very muc appreciated.
