Some weeks ago , I had to do a reinstallation of Win XP Home.
I now have a folder called "My old disk stucture",which wont allow to be deleted. I have gone to its properties and changed it from Read only and ticked to alter all folders, but it wont allow access. So I have approx 1.5Gb of wasted space. Can anyone help?

try booting into safe mode and then try to delete it,but if it won't delete then i would leave it as there's probably a good reason why it is hard to get rid of.

From googling the problem I found this site click here post 4 links to a Microsoft article on taking ownership of a folder, it might help you out.
