Hi all.I have two Iomega Zip 250 disks that have somehow become corrupted, any ideas how/what software I can use to recover my work on these disks.Much appreciated.Neil.
Thanks PO79 but the software returns the follows disk error:Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)Any ideas?
Tried Recuva, Bad Copy Pro, PC Inspector and a few other programs but nothing will solve the problem.Ideas, solutions pleaseRegardsNeil.
You could try this free Iomega Zip 250 recovery program it's number 6 on the listData Recovery 3.0 free click hereYou should also make sure the problem is not a loose connection as this can cause the error message. Also have you tried copying the contents to your C: drive?
I will try and use the program (6) to talk about tomorrow. Can't copy onto c: drive because nothing will open, contents of g: zip drive won't open.RegardsNeil.
Google for the FREE program "CDCheck".I have used this program to repair and cure the Cyclic Redundancy check on CDs and DVDs but I've never tried it on Zip discs. It's worth a try, though!!
