Recording Youtube

Any advice on the best 'free' if possible, software for copying Youtube viseos to PC, and maybe to DVD? Thanks Dave

1). Open the youtube video in webpage and copy the url of that page.

2). Open the below link:

click here

and paste the above copied url of you tube video into the space given and click on download.

3). It will provide you different links to download the video. Click on the startard quality link and save the video as .flv.

4). Make sure you have any player which can play .flv files like vlc player.

Video from youtube is dithered down so much it will be virtually unviewable via DVD on a TV. Think Spectrum ZX graphics. It's really a last resort for unique material unavailable in any other format.

I tried myself. I wish I hadn't bothered unfortunately.
