Recording and watching Freeview simultaneously

My Sony DVD Recorder will not allow me to record and watch Freeview (integral part of the player)at the same time. I have to watch through my analogue tuner which limits me to Channels 1-5. Kind of defeats the object.
Any suggestions

Buy a Humax Hard Disk recorder/Freeview box. If you have this with a digital TV, you can record two programs at same time and watch another on TV.
APlus gives you 100 hours recording on a 160Gb hard disk. Great machine.

I am assuming you want to watch a different channel to that which you are recording, in that case the cheapest option is a freeview box, they can be as little as 20 quid.
