Recording copy protected cds with cd mate?

Just installed Cd Mate but I don't know how to use the the facility for recording copy protected Cds
Can anyone help?

You need copy protection detection software. Best is ClonyXXL - latest version is in German, but you should be able to find the English version if you search - It's V2.0* - it's free.
Once loaded all you do is press one button and it will detect type of protection.

This will then integrate with CloneCD4 - telling CD4 which bits to copy and which bits to ignore.
Clone CD4 is shareware that works 25 times or one month (whichever is quicker) before you have to pay - it only clones CDs, it's no good for burning.

Your new copy of unprotected CD music will then play on your PC, in your car and on your DVD player.

Alternatively, take your protected copy back to the shop and DEMAND that they either give you a non-protected copy or a refund. They are obliged to do one or the other under trade descriptions act.

There is another option, but it's illegal - think about it!
