Recommendations For Good Wireless PCI Card?

The Nuclear Boy Scout 20:16 04 Feb 04

Evening everyone!

I'm looking to buy a couple of wireless PCI cards to create an ad-hoc wireless network at home (between two machines using XP Home).

I've looked around for some reviews on cards, but they're all a little vague and/or confusing. Does anyone have any suggestions from experience? It would be good for them to have a moderate level of security - Internet Connection Sharing to be used between the machines (and a little file sharing too). WEP encryption would be great.

Thanks for your help - have a good night!

click here for a range of PCI cards. I think that most modern cards come with WEP as standard. As you will see eBuyer also has customer reviews so maybe this will help you make a choice. Obviously prices will depend on whether you want to use 'b' or 'g' equipment.
