recently used documents

is there a way of not letting windows xp pro store my recently used documents i find it is a pain to keep having to delete them from the list all the time

sorry if im off track,but if i'm on track-try right clicking the start button,properties,customise,and limit number of shotcuts.Or do you mean documents within certain programs you use?

open start menu properties (right click on open start menu) then select customize then advanced, remove the tick from the box called list my recently opened documents.

Think this is what you mean,again right click on start,properties,highlight start menu,click customise,click advanced tab,clear checkbox-'list my most rescent documents'.Have i got it now?
