Receiving emails as attachments...

Hello all,

I'm using a combination of Avast! AV, and Incredimail Premium on Windows XP.

A few emails are coming in as attachments that I have to open to read which is annoying. I have gone through the settings on both progs to find nothing obvious...any thoughts.

My senders say they are writing the email as normal and not saving as an attachment.

Thank you,

C:\Documents and Settings\Nick Jones\Local Settings\Temp\IncrediMail\ATT1F4.htm

The above is the location that the email is opening in.

Any thoughts on that?

If they're sending HTML mail, and you have your email client set to receive "Text-Only" - then HTML mails will arrive as attachments.

So check your settings for mail formats.

Thanks for the thought.

I have repeatedly gone through my settings, and can find nothing to turn such an option on or off :-(

I have emailed their support also, so something may come of that?
