Receiving email with viruses

I have a registered domain name with LCN. This give me email forwarding but because I dont have web page hosting with them, I don't have the ability to send emails using my domain name address but I can receive emails to [email protected].

Today, I have received 3 emails from the address of [email protected] which contain a virus in the form of an attachment called and the virus is a I-Worm/Mimail. My anti virus has quaranteed this and I have been able to delete it.

I was wondering if anyone could explain how someone could send a mail appearing to come from the domain name that I have registered for my company?

If anyone could shed any light, I would be grateful.

Thanks for that - I have done a quick virus update and checked my system so I know I don't have a virus... just hope they stop sending them soon.
