Are you looking to play games? with a shortage of memory, a low end cpu, and bearing in mind that a pci graphics card is very slow by today's standards, I would be inclined to save for a more powerful system.....Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but would be best I feel :)

PCI not PCI Express?

Theres few PCI ones but heres some click here the 5200 is probably the best you can get for a PCI one. Maximum resolution is 2048 x 1536 but do bear in mind its not the good a card.

Also worth checking with Dell that it will run a PCI graphics card. Some of their mobos, despite having a free PCI slot, cannot be upgraded from onboard graphics.

Just noticed its a Dell.

Contact Dell before you buy anything, reason I say this was there was a guy last year bought a PCI card and for some reason it wouldn't work on his Dell. He emailed Dell and they confirmed that it wouldn't work on his PC. Don't know why and haven't seen this before or since, it must have been something about how the Dell motherboard was made so better to contact them first to check.

Seeing double? Or is the server playing up....Sure I didn't double post!

Both my post and Totally-braindead's appeared twice...refreshed the screen and back to normal....Must have an eye test :)

Beaten to it again by keef66.

Hmm, not just 'Eyes' that make one see double LoL .......

hi folks
its not for games, the graphics card is only to run the new 22inc monitor, which has screen flicker at the moment

he will play films and sur the net only
he has just bought a new monitor as his eyes arent as god as they once were...

ill give dell a bell
will

Far to early in the day for that :) Think I really do need an eye test though....Been getting headaches lately, and this is a 22" digital widescreen and I'm right next to it....Old age I fear is creeping up :(
