Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5610. I am trying to rebuild the hard drive as it had an error message sying hd failure was imminent and now it wont load windows properly. I have pressed F2 to enter Bios menu, set it to load from CD-ROM and put recovery cd in however i dont think its working properly as it doesnt come up with any options to rebulid drive, it comes up with windows disk check as does without the disc in.
Please can anyone help??
Oh and i've tried pressing ALT+F10 on startup but nothing happens.

Recovery may be trying to access the hidden partition on the failed hard drive.

if the drive is failing mechanically I think you ned a new drive.
