Rebooting!

I purchased a Fujitsu Amilo D FH2 notebook with 256MB DDR memory. I have fitted another 256MB, of the same manufacture from Crucial.com. This notebook purchased last summer has given ‘grief’ virtually from day one. It will reboot for no apparent reason, it will now not read an discs floppy or CD, from the fonts install window (though fonts are no the disc visible in windows explorer and will open to the viewer.

When it reboots it wants to send the following report to Microsoft (which is of no use to me!) Microsoft Windows error signature BCCode :10000050 BCP1 :C2031F00 BCP2 : 00000000 BCP3 : BF81CA29 BCP4 00000000 Osver :5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product :768_1

This notebook has been FDISKED and reloaded with Windows XP along with SP1 more times than I can remember.

I returned the notebook to the store were it was purchased assuming it was going back to Fujitsu… it didn’t the store just condemned the memory module as third party (which seems odd as it carries the same markings and labelling as the original), I assume fitted by Fujitsu, and they said I hadn’t fitted it properly.

I am in despair is there anyone out there who can make any suggestions short of dumping the notebook in this dustbin!

Have you let it send the error to Microsoft because once it has sent it. You will be sent to the MS website where you will be told of the problem and if possible you will be given a fix.
