I want to completely wipe my computer as much as possible, this I know is quite easy when you have the original operating system disks, mine did not come included. There is an official Microsoft number on the back,so I have paid for the operating system. How do I get round this.

Borrow a disc with the same Xp that is on the Coa sticker with the keycode on it.
It has to be the same version.
Run it and just add the keycode that is on the COA sticker when asked.

Your computer 'may' have a recovery partition where you can 'restore to factory settings'. How to access this varies - Dell use Ctrl + F11 as soon as you turn the machine on. Others use F10. Give the make of machine and we can check. Otherwise, and you can borrow a disc, do as buteman suggests.
