I found 'Way to Solve Realtek HD Audio Plugged and Unplugged Problem' ClickHere (works by disabling the front jack panel and make the back panel as the default jack panel)

I didn't look much further but having done a google it seems you are not alone with the problem.

Answer

You don't say which jack socket is causing the problem?

Do you have any thing plugged into this socket? if you have check they are connected correctly or check the cable for possible damage.

If it's the front panel socket you may have loose wire from the panel to the motherboard.
