click here and look up Evntsvc.exe if you have RealPlayer on your computer. In Task Manager RealPlayer can also be shown as Realsched.exe or TkBell.exe.

as previously stated I have used it for many years with no problem so if it aint broke leave it.

I can't think that either of you have read the link properly. (No offence intended). Perhaps someone else has a view about a programme that updates itself automatically without prior notification. Also, if you remove it from your start up items using msconfig it will reappear the next time you boot up.

Tools>Preferences>Automatic services - disable everything.
