The realone player on my PC freezes after just a few seconds when I play video clips.
Anyone know why this happens and how I can cure it ?.

Are you playing them from hard disk or from the internet?

If they're from the internet see if there's a setting to lower the quality a bit.

If it's from hdd see if there's a cache setting you can increase.

If it's from CD, try copying the file to hdd and play it from there.

From the Internet and from a web site.

I'm using Broadband.

I'll try lowering the quality as you suggest and see if it cures it.

Many Thanks

The problem you're having then is probably that even though you have a fast connection, you can't download the data fast enough. Real player "buffers" data to keep it running smoothly for a period of time, if the buffer runs out then you will get a pause while the data is downloaded for the next bit to be played. Reducing the quality means that a smaller amount of data per second is required, so you shouldn't have problems with the buffer running out.
