Real player

I wanted to listen to radio 2 (forgive me!) online and to do so I needed to install and use real player, so I did.

Now i hear that it uses some tracking stuff called "Rhapsody Player Engine", which remains after uninstallation. I have uninstalled Real player, but cant find this Rhapsody stuff....

any ideas where to find it and kill it off?

The link that follows is where i heard that real player has been classified as "Badware".

Many thanks in advance to you all.

Use Real Alternative, I've been using it for years, no spyware. click here

"Rhapsody Player Engine",is normally lister as a seperate entry in add/remove in control panel if not check ccleaner and delete that way.

winaso is good at cleaning left over reg entries from realplayer.

you could just run a search in windows, that's what i do if theres something i want to find, it sometimes works

RealPlayer has to be drastically configured to ensure that it does what you want it to do, rather than Real.

Like MAJ I've been using Real Alternative (much smaller) for some considerable time, along with QuickTime Alternative.
