Hi,
I am trying to read .pub files on a disc supplied to me, but I don't have Microsoft Publisher installed - which I presume has created the files. Any ideas from all you enlightened people out there? Lol.
Thanks

That's the way Bill Gates does things.

So much so that various versions frequently do not read .pub files from other versions. Great isn't it.

Publisher files prior to the 2000 edition can't be opened in it...:-)

Try these methods of viewing the files:

Plus this possibility gleaned via Google:

"You could always print them to PDF and email that.

yeah great idea...that's what I do. Use PDF creator sourceforge.net/project/...elease_id=228013 (free)

All you do is use it like a printer. Print to PDF creator.

Hi, I'm trying all options as I guess if there IS a way around it I'll find it here! Microsoft say the recipient can't do anything - only the file creator......
Thanks all.....

Tried everything, seems as though I'm going to have to BUY Microsoft Publisher in order to read .pub files - options mentioned so far don't work.
Unless someone knows better......?
Cheers!
