Is anyone else having problems reading posts due to adverts to the right of the post blocking out some of the text or is it just me!!!!

I have no adverts so cant comment but assuming your on XP open the hosts file from c:windows\system32\drivers\etc with nopepad and copy these lines underneath the localhost one

each on a seperate line save and then refresh the web page no more adds

It should look like this localhost

The file HOSTS will be in C:\windows

Hold down Shift, right click the file and select Open With. Choose Notepad to open it.

Or, to make things easier, install this HOSTS file click here

The ad I was refering to is the pc advisor ad to the right of the post screen which changes from time to time with another ad, but at the moment is ok.

Yes dan 12 it is so slightly annoying but as the adverts are needed for funding we will have to put up with it. I dont know suppose that thier must be a reason but as I have this covering and blanking the text and yet I have about 40 cms of blue blank screen at either side which is empty, not complaing cos it is free.

The only time that it should do this, is if someone postes a URL and edit's it so PCA cannot alter it to a Click Hear
