Reading Emails

  ukhomerj2003 08:43 17 Apr 06

I am using Outlook 2000, and often i get emails with pitures embedded in the text, that i cannot see.

There is a boundary box where the picture is, and a red cross in the top left corner.

How can i change the settings to view the picture?

I have Outlook Express - not sure if its similar - but try going to Tools -> Options the the Security tab.

Check you dont have "Block images and other content in HTML email" ticked.

Also, may be worth having a look at "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus" unticked, cos this sometimes causes probs.

I am assuming you have a virus checker etc when I suggest that!
