Re writable DVD's

I have just bought a Sony 18x Dual Layer DVD Writer +R/-R/RW/RAM.

Under the product description it states: DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM drive.

There are a bewildering selection of DVD's available for DVD writers but which sort should I get for my mine or isn't it important?

Your drive would seem to support most media, so you have a wide choice, if you intend to copy large volumes of data like video, music etc, you can use the (more expensive) dual layer DVD's Personally I use Traxdata dual layers for Tv progs and large volume backups, and (don't laugh) bog standard 4x Tesco 4.7gb rewritable dvd's for transfer of files Tesco ones cheap and cheerful but have not had one fall over yet. The dual layer's are a lot more expensive so use only when volume of data requires.

Just what I needed.

I'll get the Tesco Clubcard out now and get some!

Very many thanks.
