would anyone know how to time out a word document, as I have a doc that has vital info and I wont that if I go away from my desk and I forget to close it should close on own or should not be able to be read.

Why don`t you set up a screen saver to operate after say 5 minutes (You decide) and then check the option to password protect it so that you have to enter a password to resume the computer.

This is not totally secure because if someone simply turned off your computer they could restart it, but that operation could be password protected as well.

This might sound simple: but put a sticker on your monitor with a reminder written on it!!!
