Re load of Printer driver

Another problem
Whenever I turn my printer on Vista has to re load the printer drivers, I end up with endless copies of the same printer in the printer dialogue box.
Anyone know how to stop this
Printer is an HP C3180 all in one

it might be that the hp c3180 has not been selected as default printer? Try removing all but the last entry in the list and right clicking and selecting make default printer. I am a bit out of my depth here as I am not a Vista user and find myself being excluded from helping people who are.

Soz Ive tried that, the last driver to be downloaded always comes up as the default driver, doesnt matter how many times I delete and select default printer, the same thing seems to happen when I next turn my printer on.
