Re-Installing XP

Silly question ?
Is it possible to re-install XP Home on a spare PC that has no installation disks using another version XP Professional ?
I have both Serial Numbers.

I am trying to sort out a spare PC and am having a torrid time, due to my ignorance.

If it is XP Home as far as I know you have to use Xp Home disc to download it.You can borrow a XP Home disc from a friend or neighbour providing you have the keycode stuck on the COA sticker on the side of the computer.

Can I use the old Home Serial Key using the XP professional ?
Or can I use a borrowed Home version although it is not the original ?

I have just reloaded XP Home on my son's PC using my XP disc without any problem. It even allowed me to activate it via internet

You can borrow the Home Version .Providing you have the Proper keycode it should work no problem.
