Re installed Vista

I have had to re-install Vista on a Toshiba Satelite laptop and everything is ok but I can't get the internal Wireless Adapter to detect a signal from my wireless router. The only way get on the internet is by fitting a usb adapter into the laptop then it works ok.
I have installed all the drivers still no joy can anyone please help?

Did you load the drivers for the internal Wireless Adapter? Check Device Manager see are there any problems reported for the internal Wireless Adapter?

I have been trying for another 2 hours with no luck.
All the drivers seem ok. In Network adapters, Realtek Pcle FE family controller says "This device is working properly" But without the USB adapter plugged in the computer is seeing nothing
Is there anything that has to be switched on via the keyboard? I have tried the small external switch on the front of the laptot and that works fine
