re-install problem

I have inserted my floppy to do a complete re-install but when i turned pc on it wouldn;t recognise my keyboard or mouse so i can't select an option to begin or cancel the please

Are your keyboard and/or mouse USB, if so you will need to enable Legacy USB Support in your BIOS settings, usually under "Integrated Peri phials" or some thing similar.

Look for an option to enter the BIOS settings when the PC is booting, sometimes the DEL key or F2 key.
