I need to do a complete reinstall but have encountered a niggly problem that is doing my head in! After inserting the recovery disc the boot screen gives me ten seconds to press a key on the keyboard to continue with the installation, problem is I'm using a wireless keyboard that doesn't "boot up" in time to press the key! i cant find a USB keyboard anywhere local, is there a way round this "problem"?

have you only got recovery discs and not a recovery partition aswell? sorry if that was a daft question.

Would have thought that USB keyboards were common?

Erm..... how about borrowing a friends wired keyboard or buy a cheap one from Tescos for a few quid?

That would solve your wireless keyboard problem.
