I have just tried to download a program to put my classes on a cd disc, have had no trouble before but this time its telling me to alter resoulution to 1076whatever and l have it at 600-800 pixels and its fine for me. I cannot see it at a higher one and to alter it real big is awfull, l think if l had to have that l would give up with pc'c and thats saying something from me as l teach online but sonic was more or less saying if you don't alter it we can't downlod it I wuldn't have all these problems if my cat hadn't run off with a usb outside storage l only bought last week,

I don't see why you should have to alter screen res to download! Altering the screen res only alters how you see things on your pc, as you say the higher resolution renders things smaller.

You could however alter to the higher res, download and then alter back to your normal 600x800 res.

I was thinking that way, am not to keen on sonic and was looking around if there was a free one but haven't had any luck.
