There is info here click here If you are using Windows XP all you need to do is start the system with the XP disk in (assuming your system is set to boot from Cd) & follow the prompts.

it is windows 98,got to reformat,now says not enough memory

click here and start with the disc type format C:

goto the menu and do the start with CD backup but don't put CD in then you will get a piece of text that says "A:\>" type in c: (assuming c: is your hard drive)then type in format c: and type in yes and there will be a counter for the percentage done leave it to finish then your HDD is formatted

Formatting is the real easy bit - make sure you got all your important data backed up.

Most important have you got all the info on what is installed ie modem, Monitor, Main board etc you will require the driver information to fully restore your computor.
