I think I cracked it. Over the last few says 20/25 closedowns I have not had the problem. The following is what I did:1 Delete Windows temporary files by clicking on:Start-Run and type in %temp% - click OKTemp folder opens. In edit menu select all - Press Delete.2 Start internet explorer. On tools menu click, internet Options - Delete Files. Check all offline content - Click OK3 Click on My computer - Click on Windows folder - Click on Prefetch - Delete all items in Prefetch.4 IN SAFE MODE - uninstall NORTON PROTECTION. MAKE SURE TO GET EVERY FOLDER.5 In Safe Mode so an earliers system restore point. Closedown computer.Restart computer as normal and update Norton. After I did that the problem was there for the rest of the day. From the next day onwards I have not had the problem since. So far it worked for me. I hope it helps everyone else. Good luck. Manteno
