A while ago I used a usb floppy drive in my works laptop. I needed the CDR & floppy at the same time. The op sys is win2000 pro. I need to recover tokens to normal laptop floppy drive but can't change it from B to A.
It looks like the USB floppy has taken 'A' & wont let go :-( any ideas?

I was expecting it to be under Disk Management in Computer Management, in Administrative Tools (in Control Panel).

My USB Flash drive appears in there and you can right-click it and change its drive letter.

With my USB Floppy Drive that doesn't work though. Maybe it will with yours?

no, looked under disk man.
I have seen a list of usb flash drives etc in that area. I don't have usb floppy drive handy, just standard laptop plug in floppy

looked in bios already thanks. I think there must be a file left when I plugged in the usb floppy.
This is reserving A & not letting system floppy take A when plugged in
