RDRAM memory

Am unfortunate enough to have a machine with Non-ECC RDRAM memory which could cost more than the price of a new machine to upgrade - and the only supplier in the UK seems to be Dell itself.

However, this type of memory is available from Amazon in the States and I am wondering if any one had any experience of buying this sort of stuff from there and if there are any pitfalls to watch out for. Amazon is a highly reputable company so I have no qualms on that score but there may be diferences in the specification which are not obvious and being no expert I would not know about.

Thanks
