Hi All,
I have "Icon" listed in msconfig startup and icon.exe in Task Manager processes, this seems to be associated with the Rapidblster trojan, but this is not listed in Add/remove programs.
Can any one tell me what the process might be and if necessary how to remove it please?

1 Use Windows Task Manager to Remove RapidBlaster Processes

2 Use Registry Editor to Remove RapidBlaster Registry Values

Thanks for that Fruit Bat /\0/\ I'll persue that tomorrow and get back, shouldn't avast or other anti virus programs spot this and get rid of it?
Could there be a reason for it not being discovered, after all it is an old virus!

I disabled icon.exe in task manager and turned off icon in msconfig and they have stayed disabled.
I couldn't find any of the registry values or DLLs.
I'll tick as resolved, but I'm still not sure if it was a virus or not!
Thanks
