RAMBUS memory question

  cga 09:23 15 Aug 04

Bit specialised question but, just in case anyone knows:-

Mobo: ASUS P4T533-C (takes up to 4 184 16 bit RDRAM modules PC1066/PC800)

Current memory installed: 2xPC1066 256Mb

Want to upgrade memory but PC1066 is very much more difficult to obtain than the more common PC800. Does anyone know if it is possible to mix 2xPC1066 with 2xPC800. I have checked the ASUS support web site and the technical documentation and it tells me what is valid but not about mixing. (I do know that pairs have to be matched).

Brilliant link - thanks. That just about covers it and they also have the RIMM's in stock.

I had checked Crucial and they just showed it as being not available.
